Selection And Admission
The Selection will be made by the selection committee of the college as per norms.
Government quota Students are admitted by the order issued from selection committee - DME, Chennai.

Faculty :
The Parimala College of Nursing has highly Qualified, Experienced and dedicated faculty who take up responsibility for overall development of the Students. The faculty take keen interest in Conducting Seminars, Workshops, Symposiums, Research Projects and Practice traning in all aspects of Nursing.
Clinical Experience :
College provides good opportunity to the students to translate their hands on training given to the students.They get wide exposoure at Krishna Hospital, Sattur ( Parent Hospital ),Government Hospital,Kovilpatti. The extensive set up of the Parimala Nursing College facilitate the Students to correlate and integrate both theory and practice. In addition to this the students are posted in rural , urban areas and primary health centers for their community experience.
Attendance
No candidate is admitted to the examination unless she has 90% of attendance in theory and 100% in practical every year. 240 working days in an academic year is compulsory.
Withdrawal and Dismissal
Any student who damages the reputation of instituiton in any way is liable to be expelled.The institution reserves the right to send away any one home whose work or conduct is unsatisfactory.
Appraisal
Performance of the student is assessed by the system of
Monthly evaluation in theory
Periodical internal assessment of the students academic and clinical performance.
University examination at the end of each Semester in subjects prescribed for the Semester.
The student is expected to maintain high standard in academic and clinical.
Performance throughout the programme.
Marks Qualifying for Pass and Procedure For Completing The Course
Candidates shall be declared to have passed the examination if she obtains the following qualifying marks.
50% of the marks in the subject where internal evalution alone is conducted.
50% of the marks in theory in the subject where university exams are conducted and aggregate of 50% of marks in unviersity theory examination and internal evaluation marks taken together.
50% of the marks in the University Theory Examination, 50% of marks in the Practical Examination and 50% aggregate in theory, practical and internal evalution marks taken together.
Minimum pass marks shall be 50% in each of the theory and practical papers separately. Candidate must have minimum of 90% attendance in theory and 100% in practical papers fo each subject for appearing examination.
A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of the practical areas before the award of the degree.
A candidate has to pass in theory and practical exam separately in each of the paper.
If a candidate fails in either theory or practical paper she has to re-appear for both the papers ( theory and practical ).
